my winning piece from the oldskool/pixel competition of last weeks '70s disco themed tum2006 demoparty

mostly pixeled on my mums computer while visiting my parents over xmas.. 3 days of eating/sleeping/pixeling in loop =P

somehow inspired by a visit of me and some friends at a dnb party in social hotspot dresden-gorbitz, where we got to see some creatures we kinda sophisticated university graduates rarely got to see =)

the downer left area is a bit empty as i planned to do a graffiti-styled logo there, but canceled this as i felt that this a bit too much in your face

Wow, those curly hairs rock, you did a really good job there! I really like the colour scheme too. The composition is great as well, but I find that without the logo, the left part feel too empty. Maybe you could try cropping the picture or adding something in the bottom left...

Very nice, and fav weee. And ive had a piercing ripped out ^_^ Had a lip stud that was swelling to much and the back of the stud couldnt be seen so the dude pulled it out and i had to have stitches on my lip :( Looks normal again now woop!

I second BOB  about the rightmost girl. The picture is real masterpiece of pixelart and just that one face looks really not-in-place there\unfinished.

Also I really like the verison with logo. I think it fits there and you should make it the oficial version.

Wow. I love the way you created the swirls of the middle woman's hair, as with the lighting. Every thing looks great, except the girl on the right seems really unfinished compared to the rest. Also, I was wondering why the beautiful one in the middle has a cleft, lower lip? I don't think I've seen that normally in most people, unless she is puckering up, but other than that, looks like her upper lip inversed. But I guess it's meant to be a work in progress. Still, always lookin' great.
