I actually really like the pointed head. It has a nice style to it.
I agree with Blueibanez. It looks great until you reach the pointed head.
So I really like it a lot but from a design perspective the head looks too pointy to me. I'm not saying make it completely round. But I think if you rounded off the corner just a little but it would lend to that cartoony feel.
I like the use of colour in this piece. Interestingly drawn to the dithering on this piece more than normal though specially a lower the part of the shark

Yes! I come back to look at this every now and then, to remnd myself of what amaing dithering looks like.
This reminds me of the shark from Freddi Fish, and the style is similar too!
That is my favorite! Its a small image, but the shark is awesome, also the light effect.
Question, how do i get a plain background? when i upload im stuck with white instead of the dark grey of the site.

Way too much dithering.
I never really understood why this thing has so many favorites. Submit it today under a different name, and I wonder how well it would do then.
It's not bad. I just don't particularly like it.
Those teeth're pretty goo, but the dithering on the white is annoying.
The whole border of the sprite being dark gives an interesting contrast to the inner outlines of the sprite all being coloured or merged into the main tones. The orange and brighter blue backlighting pair up nicely with the desaturated blue tone of the body, but what's most underrated about this sprite IMO is the rendering on the teeth. Very easy to overlook when compared to the stronger contrast of dithering elsewhere.
