Another DS Mockup. Done in an oekaki program to prove it's pixel art, but the animation doesn't work properly... ~_~; I guess that's what I get for doing it on an unfamiliar oekaki.
The dithering is actually done by hand, folks, believe it or not. I think I went a bit overboard with the dithering, though, but it was mainly something to eat time while I stayed at my auntie's place.
I like this picture, but it's kind of sloppy. I probably won't improve on that, however. What do you guys think? Too much dither? Not enough? Needs more lens flare? |
A crossover between Panel de Pon and Meteos, 7 years before Puyo Puyo X Tetris became a thing. Crazy.
Only feedback I have to offer is how awkward it would be to navigate the touchscreen controls of Meteos mode if you only have half the DS bottom screen to work with. Even with the full screen flicking the block you intended to flick was a bit cumbersome. The XBox version of Meteos would stick to joypad controls making it sometimes more precise, but slower navigating across the screen compared to instantly pinpointing a spot on the DS.
