I think you did less well copying the style as you did emulating one of his pieces. You essentially drew his "Werewolf" as a wolf, copying the palette, shading and texture, and facial expression/structure. I would have liked more to see an original concept rendered with his stylistic quirks, techniques, and trademarks.
The art is pretty good technically, but the legs and body lack muscle structure; the hips are more complex than simple ellipsoid shapes and the body lacks ribs. Adding such muscular and skeletal forms would have helped this piece to seem in his style, as the bulging muscles and defined chest and stomach on the reference/inspiration piece illustrate.
