Well done, I like this one! The palette for the good was particularly challenging I think and you have pulled it off, although I do think the bear in the background looks a little sinister - perhaps a bridge between your good and evil pics :)
eckered > I mean that all colors are used on all parts of the image disregarding their chromatic values. For instance i didn't use any green on the nearest teddy bear, although I could have placed it between purple and blue to make the transition smoother. In the same manner I didn't use purple on the other bear, and the final result is that it's obvious that the bears are colored differently. If you take a look at most of the other entries, you'll notice how everything is the same color. That's what I meant by saying 'single spread'.
kkkkk > Well I did the evil one first. Then it turned out that against all odds, light palette was better! I didn't want the pictures to look monochromatic, like a colored grayscale, so I stopped with the evil one when i 'milked the colors'.
I agree with the last comment ;) I really find this pic much better than the evil.. looks like you rushed the evil one.. did you plan the idea since the beginning? very cute pic btw.. the palette works very well.. love the little heart on his paw ^^
