LOL blow.
No really, this was a really creative idea. I like it.
Okay. Changed the names and swapped fold and blow and Krysis request.
I'm done with this peice now. Adding details just isn't working out. Details aren't usually drawn onto origami objects as the details are made into the origami object itself. But the character is too small for extra folding/creasing details and it will make it look a little cluttered.
Would probably have to do a fresh one to acheive that kind of detail but I'm out of time
Thanks for the input guys. I will change the names of the characters and see about what details to add (but the latter is going to be tricky cause it might not work...)
Skeddles@ I was looking at the pokemon pictures and they seem to have the blackoutlines along with some selout. I'll have a looking again though in case I'm mistaken.
Krysis@ You know what....I might just do that....
the "MON" is from Digimon, not from pokemon, but it is hilarious! xD
5/5!
I love it... the only thing I'd change is swapping the "blow" and "fold" text.
I think D-puff mention that they end in "mon" probably because some other show called "Digimon" have their creatures ending with "mon", I think Pokemon usually doesn't do that with the creatures names.
Anyway good stuff, I like the creativity :)
@Jalonso - Your right about the names as they do explain them, but the writing was a play on what you get in origami books. (..and not to insult anyone)
@D-Puff - No reason for ending in mon (is this a bad thing?) The shading...well I could change the shading, colours etc. But I do want the play on origami book's so I'll stick to my guns and leave them as they are.
@ilkkle: It was a choice between a transformer/zoids type or origami. I chose this one as i felt that the other one would look to robotic and the pokemon creatures seem more organic
@ZeroFive1: The colours are to represent the style that you get in origami books. There usually single colours (white, grey). I did try adding more colours but it lost that origami feel
