That startup screen is quite nostalgic for me... my old computer was like that.

Pixel-Pusher (Level 3 Hatchikyu) @ 12/8/2008 20:01

You have no CD drives, or USBs. Have fun using that. :/

Great pixel thou.

khobby (Level 1 Rookie) @ 8/1/2008 16:40
...Well, XP is better than Vista...Though we all know that Ubuntu is King...

khobby (Level 1 Rookie) @ 8/1/2008 16:27
...That loop pretty much sums up my experience...

Expand (Level 3 Stalker) @ 5/23/2008 15:10
Holy, that is amazing. My pc starts exactly like that. Gladly, I'm not receiving that blue screen.
Background is amazing too.

sausage (Level 5 Sniper) @ 10/16/2007 08:26
Great Scene, Very Well Executed! Reminds me somewhat of my old laptop...[7/7]

greenraven (Level 2 Hired Gun) @ 9/29/2007 18:26

Great job, looks just like a real Windows start up sequence.

redscorp (Level 1 Jukyu) @ 8/29/2007 00:34

almost neglected to click this because of the preview XD  this is great!

Chris On Duty (Level 1 Rookie) @ 6/23/2007 16:12
Amazing. You've captured the whole startup perfectly, for my computer at least. Great touch at the end. The computer background, the tower and the speaker phones are excellent as well.

Imagician (Level 5 Rokkyu) @ 6/23/2007 15:56
You truly recaptured it. The BSoD even naturally alarmed me for a second (what a reflex... )

Skull (Level 11 CEO) @ 6/23/2007 14:26
I am truely amazed. Great detail.

Slusar_o2 (Level 1 Rookie) @ 6/23/2007 11:57
Well the idea of BSoD was mainly to loop animation. It would be odd it PC go off in seconds : )

fishmeester (Level 3 Enforcer) @ 6/23/2007 11:48
Mozack's right, too bad that this actually really wrecks up the message, because it shows you have no idea what it would look like if the PC rashed, yet you're making it look like it does that often.
But still very nice. I was actually expecting to hear some sound coming from my speakers as the desktop loaded :P

daniel (Level 2 Kukyu) @ 6/23/2007 11:40
Ha! It crashes almost as frequently as the real thing!

Slusar_o2 (Level 1 Rookie) @ 6/23/2007 11:23
well i won't argue because, i rather don't have BSoDs on my current PC : ) I only remember that one from 98, which was really annoying in past ; )

And thaks for those links. Its rly interesting : )

The Mozack (Level 1 Rookie) @ 6/23/2007 11:03
Top notch stuff. Perfect replication of a Windows XP startup, I must say. Nice work on the PC too.

The only error is the Blue Screen of Death; this version is only native to Windows 9X/ME. The XP BSoD is more similar to that of those seen on Window NT-based OSes:

See Wikipedia for more on the BSoD:
