I think if you'll spend some time on it, you'll draw not worse and maybe better. For example, how I drew it:

0. I imagined how it all will look like film poster.

1. I chose palette.

2. I roughly drew figures.

3. I crafted them so they looked like zombies - it was hit and miss process with a lot of undo and redo.
4. I added highlights like light comes from the upper right.

5. I added background (quite simple yet effective)

6. I added letters with the same highlights.

As you see, on each step it's nothing really special. The key is to go through all of them.
