Yeah, I know what your saying. As I was making it I tried it without the black, but then the purple reflections didn't stand out to well against the blue. I would have either had to make a lighter shade or use the black so I went with the black.

Now that's either a small bass or a big bear :D
You could also use the blue to AA the purple

-space = negative space

Thanks. I was actually thinking of making the bass bigger. It's more like a violin right now. B.O.B suggested more colors, but I don't know. Maybe one or two shades, but I'm not exactly sure where I would use them. Let me know what you guys think. Oh, and can somoeone translate what TherIsNoCure's comment says? I have no idea what kutgw means.
