just some grammatical nitpick...you say "when we were sleeping, they never saw it coming." Yet wouldn't the we imply the populace and therefore the 'they' would imply the aliens? So the aliens never saw it coming? :F

Updated pic looks better (especially moon)! Some crits on it. Font of AMAZING is not so amazing (particularly existing G can be fixed by making it's uppermost part like that on the bottom). You can design more comic-like font. Last crit is beam from the projector. Bright not transparent line looks wrong and where it touches robot it could use some AA, I think. Can't say anything about the shape of highlighted area on the robot, but I feel it must be like sector of round or smth.

The saucers are a bit small to be occupying that monster.
Nice atmosphere overall.

Nice! Same crits here as mentioned: stars (I'd decrease the amount of them and use other colors aswell) and moon (looks a bit button-like but not moon-like, maybe try a bigger one).

I actually just wanted to say that I love everything ending with "... of DEATH". I'd lay a bit more emphasis on it.

I like this picture and fact that it is made in the style of those posters, although I'd like more contrast.

Not bad.But you might want to put some of those stars a bit lower, like where the building are.

I based this robot off of the original b-movie styled robots (I love those movies). I did all of this without a sketch. Just went at it for a while.

Too low contrast and it looks pretty unfinished so better work more. I admire idea - it's nice and brutal ;)

Thanks for the comments/ crits. I did this pretty quick due to the lack of time I have anymore. But I did submit it for just these types of crits. So keep them coming. So that if I get a free moment before the contest ends, I will fix it up a little more.

Yep try and scatter the stars a little bit...make them different distances from eachother, right now they look very repetitive...you've got the bleeding type font looking pretty good though

Pretty nice, but the competition doesn't end for a couple more days right? I'm sure you could touch up a lot of little things in the forum such as the stars or the moon (Lotsa great references for both those subjects on in the gallery)
