it look's like metal sonic!

ooshmaster (Level 5 Soldier) @ 2/16/2008 08:13
Nice improvement!

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 2/14/2008 19:23
fixed :D

ooshmaster (Level 5 Soldier) @ 2/9/2008 10:25
Well, no matter how much we improve, we always have room for even more improvement. In this case, I'd consider the piece done. There isn't a whole lot you can do. The grey as the anti-aliasing between the black and the blue could simply be removed, but the grey used as the shadow is kind of tricky. You could use black in its place, which would work well, and add contrast; However, that would kind of soften the impact of the dramatic shadows when he's shooting, which was very well done by the way. I would avoid dithering at all costs, though. Well, as I said before, I can totally see how hard it is to work with a palette that consists of nothing but grey, black, white, and the three primary colors. Well done nonetheless.

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 2/7/2008 17:43
i actually have to apologize, because the grey does not work indeed.

ooshmaster (Level 5 Soldier) @ 2/7/2008 16:54
Maybe I should clarify. What I meant is the grey that you used to anti-alias the blue doesn't work, as it is not a shade between the black and the blue, in fact, it is lighter than both. But I understand the extreme limitations of this palette. As far as an example of technical skill, however, this is one of your best pieces to date.

CircleOfTheDarkOnes (Level 2 Flatfoot) @ 1/24/2008 20:00
Bad ass.

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 1/22/2008 17:57
i don't think so... :C

ooshmaster (Level 5 Soldier) @ 1/22/2008 14:09
I like it, I just don't think the grey works well with the blue.

greenraven (Level 2 Hired Gun) @ 1/20/2008 10:37
Nice improvement.

Equilibrix (Level 5 Captain) @ 1/20/2008 01:36
Well, looking at it for a longer time I see what you mean! Now I find the shadow emphasis even nice Btw good job overall, I didn't intend to look like I don't like it!

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 1/19/2008 18:04
@Equilibrix: because that way i don't any more unnecesary colors. plus giving an emphasis on the change and 'power' of the shooting, making the transcicion more dramatic :D

Reo (Level 11 Sphinx) @ 1/19/2008 11:18
I agree with lollige!(I love the shooting btw).

Marina (Level 9 Necrophiliac) @ 1/19/2008 11:11
Este bicho mola mucho xDD y la animación de la ametralladora está muy bien hecha... pero arreglaría un poco el antialias de la cabeza cuando la agacha, no sé, lo vi un poco raro, pero por lo demás lo veo muy bien

Shroom_Man (Level 1 Rookie) @ 1/19/2008 10:02
hmm.. The head kinda reminds me of Metal Sonic.

Hapiel (Level 11 Bonsai) @ 1/19/2008 09:22
Awesome! I am not sure if the evil laugh is that good (maybe head should be less turned down) but further this is an awesome improvement, and not just because its larger!

Equilibrix (Level 5 Captain) @ 1/19/2008 07:56
Yeah, much better, but I dont' get the shadows while he's shooting.. Why there's suddenly the black shadow on him? I think the gunfire should give him only highlights, not shadows!

Doomcreator0 (Level 5 Assistant Manager) @ 1/19/2008 06:19
This is much better.
