Shawn is one of those guys who has been around a while and has proven his ability to pixel and that he wouldn't commit the sins of a normal pixel n00b.

I doubt its an edit, Shawn wouldn't do that.
It's inspired, therefore its in the similar style of ben2theedge's sprite, it doesn't even look edited.

It's obviously HEAVILY referenced, like most of your pieces and the high (very high) color count to the piece also adds suspicion along with similar sizes. Maybe if you didn't make pieces so questionably similar to other pieces people wouldn't accuse you of ripping, add some originality to your pieces.

That's a cool chibi style.  Hair and outfit are nicely detailed.
