GREAT MOVIE, great color choice, great concept, great style, great piece!

This movie was legitimately scary, and not much scares me.

Yeah, its quite nice pixel, but I still have a thing with this picture... I couldn't make out the crater without looking at the ref, I don't know why since it seems to be quite the same as on photo... Probably the main reason is colors and the big mistake people do when painting/pixeling/drawing from photo - they forget the creativity sometimes and just mentally trace everything off, therefore still missing the important details that make the picture alive. So, what I want to say is that some color detail is iffy.. The left and right walls of the crater, to be precise, the one on the left should be more blueish and just a bit lighter since lighter values sit around it. The missing of such color detail makes the crater look a bit flat and blends it too much into the horizon which makes even the last one iffy... To make it even more clear - the ref pic is composed like this - darker values on the right and brighter values (where the men and viewer are looking - main focus) are on the left.
Or did you want your focal point to stay on the main character on the right, is thats why you made it more colorful so he stands out? Don't make the pic fall apart ;)
I overly like your pic and I am a fan of the Thing myself as well, just a friendly crit to make it look even better :)

props for the movie choice ;] they don't make horror movies like they used to, and The Thing is one of the better old ones.
the dither style in this is amazing, it gives it an almost...cloth like feel, which is really cool. ^^

i really didn't love it, but it's one good movie. and that scene is quite great yes.

One of my most favourite horror movies! I had seen it for the first time when I was quite a little boy and then had nightmares for several days It's still pretty scary even now when one gets over the obsolete, now rather funny special effects. And your pixel is pretty good, faving!

My dad liked it a lot but ive only seen it about a year ago... pretty cool movie, especially when i noticed the date at the end :S Cool pixel art as well! Faved

I remember seeing this movie at my friends house we still talk about it now.
