A collection of enemies I've made for the Wolfenstein theme for my game. It's a mix of Wolf3D and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I've replaced the mutant with a nazi zombie and added a gestapo + the android/cyborg from Hell Boy. Please let me know if there is anyone I miss/need. It was my goal not to use more than 16 colours on each, in which I succeded except for flameboy...

Top - Left to right:

Soldier - Flame Trooper - SS - Officer

Middle - Left to right:

Elite Guard - Gestapo - Android Assassin - Zombie

Bottom:

German Shepard Dog

I'm open to suggestions... How do you make a swastika cartoony?

Squirrelsquid got a point.. Although I like the logo the way it is pixelled (apart from the swastika for known reasons), it would be great if it was somehow puzzled or cartoony!

you are right, I agree with you - still I think it would have been awesome, if the Eagle got a puzzled expression, or if there was spray painted "X" over the swastika, or something else that makes the "logo" itself funny - the characters imply a funny, cartoony look, so why not make the Symbol match it?

Obviously that was far from my intention. And I understand why you feel offended. But on the other side I don't belive in censurship of any kind (I am after all from the same country who brought the Mohammed Drawings). What America did to Wolf3D was a scandal: Removing all swastikas, replacing blood with sweat and the dogs with mutant rats (WTF?). Anyway I think it's acceptable to use swastikas if in an appropriate context such as ww2 movies and games. The point is I guess, that it is not used as part of a pro-fascistic propaganda.

the characters are great, but somehow I still feel offended by Swastikas, because I am german...
