@Mulchdiggums: I can see what you are saying but follow it from this angle-
He's stood with the blade above his head (ala my non-animated version), going overhead would require lifting the scythe and wielding it over his head, however, if you let the blade just fall downward gaining momentum, then before it hits the ground, swing it back up, can you image the force that would bring, and it would require a lot less energy to pull off. After the stab, he just raises it back to his head (shortest distance), ready to unlease again.

 I'm using Firefox too, and it looks okay. which pixels look as tho they animate wrong?

 Some pixels appear or change when they probably shouldn't, and I'm using firefox. But the animation itself is pretty wicked. I like :)

It's strange. It's nothing to do with the animation. If you zoom in, or if you open the animated gif in Animation Shop etc. All the graphics are fine, it seems to be IE's rendering of it... and it annoys me...

It's a cool loop indeed, but you've got some pixels disappearing at the bottom of the robe that need to be cleaned up.

I quite like the slow speed tho. The grim reaper (to me) never seems to move quickly, he just seems to slide up and then slice you.

I know what you mean about the static, tonight I think I'll create a more animated version.

The slash seems kind of slow. He would have more power behind the slash. You might want to make another part of him move to so he isn't so static.
