I suppose this challenge could serve as a sort of psychiatric analysis. Peering into the cluster of pixels, this is what I saw. Mammals eating dinoes... Does it make sense? Nope. Did I make it anyway? Yup.
Backstabbed. No matter how well pixelated those dinos are, the background is what got the most of my attention. It just describes the world around them so well.
What I love most about this is that it tells the story :) I know you are digging limited palettes but I wish that brave little mammal was more recognizable on the background and dino's mouth was... less red o_0, looks more like a painted toy to me now.
All the rest is amazing, no surprise when it comes from you.
The preview image is coolness in a highly pure form.
The full thing is good too. I'm impressed at all the different images people have made. I couldn't see anything worthwhile when I tried. I probably lack imagination.
