Good job over-all ... I know what you mean about getting sick of a piece.  Usually I just put it on hold but you can't really do that when it's a time-lined contest :)

nice piece, though i don't think you're done.. the 8th color should be removed at least =)

also: all colors are a bit beyond the values of the given palette (light gray is 203-203-203 instead of 200-200-200 for example etc., probably a png-thing)
