In the walk animation, he kinda snaps back and forth, it could be a little more smooth. But maybe that's just style. The sprite looks really good!

I agree with neota, there needs to be more reaction to the force of the weapon firing, also you should add a flash and make the shell bounce and roll away or something in that matter. Neat sprite though, good colors.

Great colors, and I like the preview! The actual animation -- I think the reloading motion should cause him to rotate his body somewhat, so there is a greater sense of motion.
