Thanks, guys! All the small enemies are animated, but they only have a two frame walk cycle. I wanted to limit stuff as much as possible so that I would have a better chance of finishing it. If I can't get it to look good in motion, I think I'll add at least one more frame. Some of the levels look a bit blocky without different tiles for edges, so I might add that later too. Oh, it scrolls both horizontally and vertically.
I like the little skeletons and that little organge glint in the zeroes.
Are any of the characters animated? Would like to see what the player and the skeletons animations would look like.
