For a ninja-themed mockup frenzy challenge at Pixelation. Not very imaginative, but I really wanted to draw a ninja. I'm pretty happy with it except for the icky selout.

Ah, I see what you mean, Adarias. I think I would have had much less trouble with a bulkier design. Shading thin metallic objects is definitely not one of my strong points, so I'll have to look into that.
Yeah, dumbo, I agree that it's a bit of a stretch. I should have left more of his costume on, I guess.
I like how the doors let the light in At first I thought the ninja was going to throw a kick, but now the shuriken confuses me a bit - I guess he just has it ready all the time.

background is great, ninja communicates well, but the robot loses all his form because of the background contrast as well as his own. maybe, although it's metal, lend a little more favor to the greater shapes than to the local shines.
