Salam kenal.. anyway mungkin maksudnya Jal pixelart bukan buat photorealism.. itu warna kulitnya keliatan aneh banget buat para pixelart mania.. keliatannya kaya editan dr photo trus direduce colors.. banyak bintik2nya gitu gan.. makanya jgn ngambil ref dr video ariel dan lunmay.. kualitasnya buruk... hehehehe...

hmmm...okay i understand what you're thinking
1. okay i create it based from photo, yes i reduced it to make it visible in pixel way, but i just wanna trace the basic outline from the original source, later on im just trying to colorize and look and improvise from the original reference.
2. yes i make two layer, the basic layer is  the  original source that i reduced in visible pixel, and creating basic outline
3. i'm not trying a reduce a photo that actually create some artifact and "pixel happen".

so reconsidering about that, i'm really sorry if my method creating pixel still seems like violated "RESPECT" thing, thanks about the information and suggestion !

i provide the link from original picture source

So, the main rule and principal thing in pixelart is 'art created one pixel at a time' this normally means using the pencil tool only. You may use the bucket tool to fill large areas but essentially, you must CONTROL the pixels, every single one.

Zoom into your image and there are artifact pixels which indicate that you;
• reduce a photo and artifacts were created
• you did a 'save for web' and FORCED the color count/reduction
• some other crazy thing
This is very, very bad and not allowed in pixelart. Tracing over a photo or a scan from an original source is acceptable but unless its YOUR artwork it will not be as respectable. Skills, creativity are great but RESPECT must be earned.
You will find most PJ members can spot a fake easily, we are not fooled often, so don't even try.

You are new to pixelart and still learning your way around the style. We all help each other. If you really learn to love it I suggest being pure with it. In the future you will learn to bend the rules when needed and to spot the difference between pixelart, hybrid pixelart (tool use is OK but not allowed in Pixeljoint), Oekaki (the bastardly sister to pixelart), Demoscene, etc.

Just keep at it, keep reading tutorials, making WIP (work in progress) threads on the forum and the best of all learning tools, studying the galleries of those you admire and...RESPECT.

Is this created 'one pixel at a time'?
