Nice. At first I was questioning the accuracy of scale armor on vikings, but I looked it up before I put my foot in my mouth, and it turns out a rare few did have scale armor. :) Great weapon choice, too. The composition is nice, I like the pose. The problem that stands out to me is the white sleeves, especially his left one. They seem to be pillow shaded. The shading doesn't convey the shape of the arm well, either. If asked to be picky, I would recommend some dirtier, rustier color variance in the armor and some scratches and wear to the shield. Overall though, a nice piece!
very good almost copyed exactly. You only missed his other rist band, the second band for his sword and you added that band on the shield. Also the under shirt looks too modern.
