Three mostly-realistic car sprites I made for a racing game I was going to make, but I backed down because of the difficulty of physics. 30 colors total, but for each specific car, from left to right, that's 13, 15, and 15 colors. Reference photos here.

Bah. Firefox can't post links correctly, and Internet Explorer won't load pop-ups or any other link that doesn't appear in the current tab and window, so I can't edit that last post. Anyway, the example is here.
Whereas not dithering makes this sprite look like melted plastic. Without dithering, the individual colors' edges are far too apparent for my tastes. That's how I originally tried it, and even with more colors, but this still looks better. Example here.
