Got a spark from challenge - characters are my favorite, and was going to enter, but then like - nah-a, come out not quite stylized and many.=) I'll just post it as is. 58 colors, around 16 each

/applaud Love the pallet on the old man, (how the nose is redder than the rest of the face) but the mad scientist gives me the most entertainment

This is amazing, in a fools style but it also contains some very nice pixel effects!

I really like those highlights you did on the pirate! They give his face so much more shape!
The hues on the wise man are all excellent in place, perfectly neutralizing each other but still making it a lot more interesting!
The cave mans half open mouth and his eyes just give an perfect expression, and the detail on the hair works good as well!
This mad scientist is really mad, everything on him is just perfect!

And I just noticed the tiny skulls on the pirates bandana, those tiny details really finish your work!

If I can only say how awesome I find this by posting a long comment, I will post a long comment.
Or maybe even a longer one.

I know it's not very logical, but he didn't enter. So don't worry :P.

I'm especially digging the wise old man, since that's exactly how I pictured him in my head when I was reading the challenge.

He can't enter without editing the colours by the way, if he would want to.
There's 58 colours in total, but every single portrait MUST have exactly 16 colours.
So only if he'd up the colours to 64 would this be enterable.
