I believe that the dark background has a purpose, it has been used elsewhere and is needed for the look of the bubbles to be effective, which are the focus of the challenge itself. Ref EDIT: Sorta kinda fixed the major things EDIT2: Cutified nose, face in general, stray white pix, aa. Scrapped the grey highlighting on the hair; Doesn't help to make her look any younger Super update: Pastelised colours, redid head (esp angle) Thanks, Ska! Overall, it's a nice piece and a good entry, but I think you're falling into some of the same traps as you did when you joined here.

There's a lot of unnecessary dithering. You should try AAing her hair a bit more. Maybe shrink her face down, right now it seems a bit tall.

There's also a few highlights in her face that I don't really understand, mainly her cheek and chin. Make sure you think about how the light is hitting her face.

Jeremy, I think the hair looks extremely messy. The colors on the bubbles are awesome but with the dithering it looks like those bubbles are rough instead of shiny.

At last, you edited it so it looks like she is blowing a bubble too, but her eyes are not positioned like that.

I do not think its really finished yet..

I also think her lips should be together more so it looks like shes blowing
the detail and texture on the face makes her look older than I assume you intended. I like those bubbles though, not bad overall.

Looks nice...but the anatomy looks a bit off. Also if she is blowing into the bubble it doesn't seem she is, it looks like she is smiling and the bubble is blowing...
