Used same reference as Wade's pic. http://bigup.cz/images/snoop-dogg-1.jpg I wanted to show that there can be many objectives for realistic art besides realism. It was to counter someone's point on Wade's thread but this morning I realised I misread that post. Anyway, objective for this one was to capture the stoned meerkat quality that Snoop has ('we must capture the caricature, the essence of everything we see' - Jean Ingres). No Bukkake dithering. Didn't spend that long on it - bit WIP, some bits could be cleaned up more. Thx for comments. Dog symbols might be superfluous but I'm uncomfortable with the idea of drawing snoop by himself in this 'tough guy' pose.

My only real criticism is that it still looks like an early wip and lacks detail, but it's a nice cartoony approach to the subject and has character.

It's pretty darn good! I like the caricature nature of it!

I'd lose the extra crap (pun intended) around him and update the preview with something a bit more indicative of the piece but that's just me.

I don't like the outline around him, and I think the objects around him are unnecessary . But the picture looks cool. The smoothness of the picture is great.
