So this didn't go as planned... I thought this challenge would be an awesome oppurtunity to practice at doing more realistic looking isometric art. And here we go: shiny, simple and pink. Again. Damnit.

Anyway, how is this alien? I'll explain.
I believe there is more life out there, and, that they might have found one of our messages in space, with music from Mozart and information about the seven wonders of the world, and so on. These aliens will think that ancient Greek temples looked amazing. I mean, we do too! (Not just the Renaissance, but we still add elements from Roman/etc. architecture to our buildings nowadays). So, they take that concept, and apply it to their own world. Then I got to think, what else could they learn from Earth? Well, that we're worried about global warming and fuel running our at the same time.
So, my aliens took the old, and the new, and combined it in an alien sanctuary to preserve solar energy in liquid form. Because they're so much more awesome and intelligent than we are.

I made up a lot more while pixeling this (all week) but I think I'll write a novel about it some day haha.

As always, I'm not too good at combining tiles, and this time I also ran out of time to fix it, so it's a bit messy... but I think I'm slowly improving at logical thinking!

Thanks. I am not entirely sure what the yellow stuff is - free interpretation. I think I'll personally go with liquid sunshine.

i like how it looks and everything but i cant figure out what the yellow stuff is. is it gold? well anyways this was overall cool and its realistic nice job.

I prety much like all your designs, however I think you need to make a bit more contrast on this, I mean try making dark/shadow parts of building even darker so that a more clear diference appear, I think it'll make your work even more awsome.

I really think that with contrast you can keep those bright colours, it's just that the blue-greys are quite light coloured too.

I'm sorry about the bright yellow guys! It was 0:30 AM when I finished it and I remember thinking 'well, the sun's bright, so...' and then deliberately didn't change it ^^; Not the best call looking back. I also made a dark purple and green colour edit but for some reason then decided to stick to my pink/yellow palette. Maybe I'll tweak it some more... some day.

It's well pixeled but eyeburningly oversaturated (For me, at least). I'm having a hard time picking out all the details, mainly because of the yellow distracting me.
