From WayForward's "American Dragon: Jake Long, the Rise of the Huntsclan" for GBA.

This is a compilation of all his animations for the game (I'm missing the stance and hurt anims because of a hard drive crash). The frame used for the stance is the model; therefore not made by me.

EDIT: Re-timed....

Glad you like it Zi. as you can probably imagine I didnt really think showing both eyes at all times was key for this guy...the specifical frame that you mention means to show the side of his face...apparently it wasnt effective with you!. Anyway, the game has been out for years and they didnt freeze that frame like I did here, so you probably dont need to worry about that. :p

very nice animation ... I'm worried about his eyes - they are main idea of the animation, and they are available in all frames, but in two frames maybe, when the character stand up is only 1 eye - this is not problem of course because character is like slime, but watcher follow the eyes in proces of the animation and when have available only one eye it's a bit confuse.

I like it of course :)

First of all this is just a little gif showing off a bunch of animations, so it IS a bit awkward...as it's meant to be seen in-game and really not many people post a bunch of actions in one gif like this, so that has to be taken into account.
Personally, I think you are too used to Metal Slug's type of timing, my ideals are far closer to stuff like StarOceanBlue or EarthWormJim.
That being said, I think maybe I could learn more aboout timing hold off on a few frames and show them off a bit more..I admit I AM obsessed with motion blurs and displaying a lot of detail in few frames, but unless the character is big and is supposed to display a lot of weight I dont think I'll make my work full of 1/1 animations...just doesnt feel right to me. Point taken! I'll chew on that next time I time something.

I like it fairly nice and dynamic animation work.  But why do these animations seem like they are on crack!  So fast a  frame rate makes it trcky to understand whats going on at times.  I think if I recall American Dragon it does have a tendancy to do the fast frame rate (probably as the target audience is ADHD youngsters of the confounded new generation, who wont get off my lawn with their skateboards) so I can sort of see why in this case.  But it seems alot of your animations are just that little bit noisy and maybe just a smidge fast for an old timer to keep up with, I feel so overwhelmed. :P That is my critique for your work RAWR.

Yes Antiboton, but it's really not ok to throw that around if you dont have some piece of proof that makes you absolutely sure it's ripped, if you're in doubt use PM, only use these comments if you've confirmed your doubts.

Read up on everything the user posted, Here for example note how in the description I state that the stance frame is the model therefore not mine (by model I mean it was the "sample" frame so I knew what to make him look like in my animations) that right there should've tipped you off that there was more to this than me just posting some random rip I came across. Be very careful and read thoroughly what a person has said before thinking of "asking" wether something is ripped...it's not GSA and that kind of insinuation could lead to a ban.

Ok, let's get back to the piece everyone =)

I just doubt due to this comment:

"From WayForward's "American Dragon: Jake Long, the Rise of the Huntsclan" for GBA."

I though he was talking about a released game from GBA. And I thout it was a rip cause I spent some years ripping games from many systems to submit to GSA. Another site.  Howeva, you must notice that I sayd I liked it a lot.

Antiboton, please trust everyone from the start, and only change your mind if you have reason to do so. Not everyone around you is a potentional criminal!

Conzeit,beautiful animation!

Is it just me or does Antiboton accuse everyone who posts a sprite of ripping it? It pisses me off. If it's a rip then have proof. Otherwise since they're posting it on an art site, they probably made it.

By the way this is awsome. I just wish it ran abit slower. : )

I'm not accusing. I'm just asking i it was a sprite rip before ratin the art. I just like to be sure.

However, I said that is a fluid ani and that I love those kind of chars.

Shouldn't really accuse Conciet of ripping -- at least without proof. He's a very old and upstanding member of Pixelation and apparently works for WayForward(team that worked on Contra4). In fact you shouldn't throw accusations around like that at anyone unless you have substantial proof.

Wow! Is a very fluid animation. I always have loved those "slime" (jelly) characters like Glacius from Killer Instinct or Blob from Clay Fighters. But this is just ripped?! Not good.
