mmm thanks vampireslug, your totally right, my effort went out the window by the time I got to the outside panel xD
so I didn't expend nearly as much effort as I could have on it

A moon that bright should leave a pretty well defined shadow from that gate.  Also, given the detail of the figure and the moon, the surface of the path leading to the gate needs have some more texture.  On the plus side, the second and third panels are freaking brilliant... I think if the first panel were tightened up a bit this would be a really awesome piece.
