Eastern Weekly Challange.
This is what happens when you have only one subject and NO INSPIRATION!
Here's you can see the WIP
grazie mille :) diciamo che finalmente riesco a rendere quello che volevo senza diventare matto.
Complimenti! È una simpatica scenette, ben realizzata.
Nice, I haven't seen that one yet, but I've seen some of his other things, definately inspiration-worthy.
Congrats on second ^^
I've added the WIP to the description.
@skeddles: true, I'm actually satisfied with it and I think I took inspiration from some scenes of Princess Mononoke that I saw recently.
Its a nice piece indeed but the humans look way moore detailed than the statue itself
Lol, I fell outta my chair. Fail. (For me not you, this is a nice piece.)
Everything is awesome, I especially like the grass.
Hey! I have same idea :D You did it very well.
lol I realy laughed hard - well done :3
Thanks everyone for the comments.
I agree there're some other similar and previous versions of this sketch (I almost forgot the simpson's one! lol), and this is just my interpretation. :)
Now I'm on holidays and I'll upload a WIP as soon as I get back with a stable connection (grps sucks).
Haha, funny and perfect!
But , I think the MoaiHead should say "I don't like this one. Try again."
Hah! This sort of reminds me of a Far Side cartoon. Love the illustration style and the grass on top of the hill.
I was going to do that!.....
Ughhhh now I have to change my idea.
hahah sweet you got my vote
Great. You've definitely improved quite a bit!
I think the AA could be more consistent; but aside from that, the composition is great, as well as the concept, even if it has been done before =)
has my vote
Not implying anything but I've seen a similar joke on TV(Simpsons, I think?) where a man was sculpting heads for a man who looked like the Moai statue and the Moai man was saying "It's all wrong, start over!"
Very nice spriting though!
This is great, Peach! I love the concept, and the style is really cool.
I just LOVE the little characters :)
I like the thick outline...but it should be around all the foreground things...
