that's a river, and the lakes and rivers in DS map are in that color, and in game in there are a bridge
Actually, I dont think he used any layer- judging from that weird, crazy thing going through the landmass in the middle. I don't get it, is that a river??
Why is it going through the road, and under the roads outlines? Apparently, you meant to do that, since it's on another road too. Is it like that in the game, or did u put the wrong colours?
Well this is great- it looks a bit like the game. All I can say is that you got: time to waste 99%, originality 1%.
I hope to see you other pokemon work.
i did not used semi transparent layers for the road, i made the road color by my self
there is not much to say about this, except for the use of semi transparent layers to make the road.
first, tnx for the L-shaped blip thing, second yes is the ligth of sun, but that's a map, the diferent greens are for the depth of the ground, making the lighter green a high terrain and the darker green for deep terrain, and the DS maps are that flat XD
One thing I noticed, because you, apparently rotated the L-shaped blip, the lighting is inconsistent there. And I don't think it really helps that some are more bevelled than others. You have banding issues, primarily on the coast lines.
It all looks okay, but rather flat, with the exception of the blips.
Oh and you have a big light in the middle of the image, so I assume that's your light source / the sun, so why isn't everything shaded according to it?
hey watch your words, you where a novice once, like i do, so if you born knowing happy for you, but i'm starting -_- so shut the f*** up
