How come I forgot to comment on this?
This is just too cool.
Yeah, I'm gonna try it out - I think it looks really great :)
EDIT: But if I save an image in photoshop with 2:1 pixels, like say a .png file, when I view it the pixels are squared... How do I maintain the 2:1 ratio in the viewed file?
Thanks, dude. I highly recommend any serious pixeller at least try wide pixels.
To do them, I use Photoshop set to non-square 2:1 pixels. That way when I draw 1 pixel, I get 2.
I LOVE this piece!
How do you do the wide pixels?
I mean is there a program that can draw wide pixels, or do you "make them" yourself by placing two seperate pixels side by side?
It´s a celtic pattern.. My mom tattoes these a lot. ^^ It´s really interesting how many intricacies they designed...
Well.. Wide pixels... These.. Generally give painful results... At least to me... Generally pa8inful results. But what you got is great!
The middle hammer looks really cool! But I especially like the emblem on the bigger hammer:)
Great stuff.
Though I think I'd be dissappointed upgrading to level 3. Level 2 is awesome...
Except the first one I really love 'm! Also it was fun and interesting to watch the wip earlier on!
You're right, I did receive some good advice on the largest one. Updated.
Not even giving credit to the pixelation community...tsktsk!
Non the less, neat.
The two to the right are amazing (Lefty could need a little more detail), but all in all great job.
They look... Heavy, I can almost feel them, awesome job
I hear ya, but I'm letting this one go, letting it stand as a testament to the little progress I made while learning; something for me to look back on. Next set will have much more continuity.
I really like these, the progress you made in the style is awesome too. Always been a fan of the C64 palette too, nice work there dude :)
Sweet. I would love to see a bit more work on the first hammer, though.
WOW!!!
