Wow, I just recently found your art, and I must say, I am completely blown away by your talent. Probably my biggest inspiration on all of PJ, I love your style even more then that of Fool. :)
Wonderful entry, the palette you chose is awesome :)
Loving the sky and the monolith's texture!
Appealing color theme, and nice iconic feeling in this piece. I also agree that the texture is very pretty.
I really love the texture realized on the monolith, great work.
Rather like John Howe's illustrations:
Gandalf approaches the Guarded city
See what I mean about contrast? No silly heavy-handed color shift here, and you're not afraid to touch (or hint at) the extremes of the grey range.
I think your link is broken :p
Unless it's supposed to look like a squirrel...
At last, somebody who dares use contrast in a pixel piece.
Hehe, this reminds of one of those cheesy limited edition plates you can buy, with some crazy painting printed on them. But only because it's circular; the scene isn't cheesy at all.
Wonderful entry! The colors and subject match great, and I really like the patterns and dithering styles you used!
I love it when people go by the challenge restrictions. Very vell done!
Wow! Very impactive work. Rich colors. Simple composition. Beautimous.
It's not often that I see pixel artwork in a circle. I love the way the obelisk and the brush turned out. Fantastic job!
