{ Here's the edit. I think it's a bit better now.
And thanks for the tips, guys.
He looks like a weedy art type standing in front of his own art in a boring art exhibit. There are major composition issues imo though i wouldn't know how to fix them exactly. You should make him more to the left. Make him stronger looking (and shouldn't his fur show ... i'm not familiar with the show but some refs online his arms aren't covered). I think he should be bigger than the design behind him and lines of interest (such as arms crossed) should lead to the point where the teeth collide on the design. Nice rendering. Goodluck improving it.
omg! you have improved that much that fast...crazy o.O
This forced me to raid your entire gallery and found all the little green icons on top of the previews the most creative thing eva, so concise and clear what they all are.
{ I still thinking I can do better, so... I'll try to update it tomorrow.
Maybe reveal some more of his body, I dunno...
Anyway, thanks for the comments, guys!
Doesn't really remind me of Liono. To be honest I think you strayed a little too far.
I mean he should at least be wearing his trademark armor!
But on it's own, it's good nevertheless.
[EDIT] Hmm, on second look, it appears as though he is in the correct outfit, but it's not very apparent. It looked like he was in a suit, with a bright collar, because his body is so dark.
The background is much better in the preview rather than in the piece itself, other than that, perfect!
Haha wooo, I totally forgot about those cartoons... it's been many many years since I remember them. Good job on the pixels, I would have preffered to see a full character of liono, but this is nice still.
Much better than the original by far. The dithering is pretty nice as well. My only problem is that I don't like how it suddenly becomes dark on his chest area whereas near his neack and collar area it is bright. Still good though. :)
Thundercats! Thundercats! Thundercats! Ho! Sorry, I loved that show when I was a little kid. :P
Yeah definitely better, good work. =]
If I had to crit anything now, it would be that the muscles don't seem to 'pop' enough.
