Well first of all, I personally think that's a lot of colors for a pixel this small. You can barely see the red shirt on 2x scale (you can almost not even see it on 1x), so I don't really think it needs three colors. One or two colors would do it.
Then there's the blue colors. I don't see any point in using colored outlines in the pants since every other outline is black, and there's a couple shades/highlights that are almost the exact same color (for example, hair's highlight vs the pants' highlight), you really can't even see the difference between those (or at least I can't) at so I recommend using just one color instead of many colors with almost no difference.
And then there's the shoes, I don't think they need that many shades, one's good enough (and in my opinion looks better). And the shade in the eyes, well, you can't really see it so I wouldn't shade it at all, use more contrast or use the skin color to shade it.
Otherwise, the colors fit well since the style is pretty cartoonish. Pretty decent piece overall.
The colors are good. But, his head is too round and it displaces his chin to the left.
Ah, I honestly didn't think of using the colours in that way, I'm still new to this and trying to cut down on the amount of colours I use while still keeping detail is what i'm finding most difficult.
Thanks for the tips, I will certainly bear them in mind in the future!
