Giradons are relatives of the infamously territorial giradans. Their skin is all one texture, which has much traction allowing easy mountability. Their horns are completely solid, and also allow mountability(tying a rope to it to keep balance) and their back is shaped perfectly for comfort. It is almost as if they were made to be used as weapons of war! Their skin is hard, but not as hard as the giradan's. It can still go through quite a lot of damage before being penetrated, but can be pierced, if done correctly and swiftly. Giradons are primarily found in the Mynvoy deserts. There is a rumor that if you allow them to get sandy enough, you can burn their skin and it turns into glass. But these creatures are so rare that no one would risk such a loss.
