interesting to see the differences between a few years of practice, I like the idea of redoing an old sprite. Nice work! My sprite work would only barely compete with the 2006 one XD
That's a really great improvement on the original, even though the original is nice too.
New one looks much better but then I don't like the Fire Emblem style at all. The personality of the character seems different too. In the first he looks like one of them slightly rugged but noble heroes but in the new one he looks much more like a total thug.

and the spriting is pretty damn cool too!
