I like the sharp detail in this piece and how it works by being symmetrical. Nice colours.
Wow...
Really nice piece of work. And the way the lines are traced... quite a particular style here.
probably the most imressive pixel beart evar. cannot get my eyes off. awesomski!
Oh I see. I was unaware of the ange things. In that case, very nice indeed.
well, if the piece were made in keeping with the original MSX restrictions (please, check it out on wiki, hotliking here is not working properly), my answer would sound like this: what about flash vectors on an 80s machine? but since the limitations have been omitted, i can only say i totally respect your opinion. to each its own and i am pretty fine by this.
the paradox is, while making this piece i was aiming at making something you cant usually see being made with use of pixels, so i have restricted myself to mainly 45 and ~60 degree lines. :)
peace!
hmm.. I don't know if I like the style that much. It looks too much like flash vector graphics. In my opinion, pixel art is better when it uses styles no other art form can capture.
AWESOME technique. I'm really impressed. Only background IMHO needs small upgrade. Nevertheless it's stunning!
Oh my! This is so smooth, and practically without antialiasing!
I always really dig looking at geometric shapes when they're used for shading like this. My favorite parts have to be his beard, eyes, and that neat little detail on the green background.
Fantastic. :)
Wow! Grrrreat work!
Only thing maybe, the hood, or hair... I can't decide which it is, and your wip on Pixellation didn't help.
I wish the forms in the green background would suggest a bit more of a scene like a jungle or something behind him. Other than that I'm in total love with it :) Great colour- and stylistic choices all over the place.
Haha, I love it. Can't see many places for improvement, kudos. +fav
wow this is niice ^^.... love the beard, looks like crystals.... definitly a palette im gonna check out ;D
Love the MSX!
