Something I quickly whipped up for me (or anyone else who remembers the good ol' beeb computers :) ) to use as an avatar on this site. At least I hope I can use my own work as an avatar (I'm new here, can ya tell yet?)... oh well... Drawn in Painbrush 2x original scale GIMP 2.6 was used for simple blink animation.

The original logo was a bunch of circular blobs. beebwiki.jonripley.com/File:BBC_owl.png

So I guess you could categorize it as an edit. As long as I'm able to use it as my own avatar I'm not bothered about the main gallery. :)

Even if it could be turned down for viewing in main gallery, you'll still be able use the piece as avatar. It (sending for revision) can happen, because, as original BBC logo also was pixelart, due nature of medium it can be qalified as edit (generally not accepted unless it is edit of another PJ piece).

Checked your dA - it has enough of interesting pixelart.
