@slym: Actually, it's not a splatter, it's more of a glow from the monitor, to make the scene a tad more dramatic.
Ok I'm sorry but I just had to ask, why is there a splatter on the wall?
nice image full of cute detail. I especially like the cat and those sweet pencils in a cup...
This has got to be like my second or third favorite piece on the entire site. not even kidding. I....really don't have much else to say....
Oozes style and displays obvious technical mastery. Where do you get off being so consistently excellent?

He's a pixel-head alright. You even designed a chair? Your grasp of pixeling is ridiculous. Interesting how you juxtapose light and dark pixels to make sharp edges, just like typical sharpening halos, I'm going to try it.
Excellent work, only crit is that the left hand seems a bit longer (and a bit lazily executed) than the right... Might just be the angle though.

Great stuff iLKke! I was looking at your website last week for the first time (never checked to see if you had one) and was wondering if you were going to post this creative pic.
My favourite parts are the cat and the pencils (which I believe to be a 0.5)

awesome! idea and the pixel hairdo are just out of this world. also diggin' the chair, yummy! only nitpick might be the folds of the sweatshirt, i have to detract 0.1 points here ;D
.. and as already mentioned: the mouse is redundant =)
