Cool, but yeah, why not use a few more colors rather than such a hard dithering? And maybe the rock could be a piece of glowing lava? (but now I'm just making wishes :) )

The throwing 'hand' should bend towards the left, this would be the natural movement after a throw and appear more dynamic.
The eyes... don't know, maybe desaturate a bit, or even try a gradient? You can have 14 more colors after all!
I'm still not over friendly of your dithering, too.

Yeah, I made an exagerate dithering :p, I could use more colors indeed.
