You've lost alot of detail with the latest edit becuase the colors are too close together. Check your monitor callibration.

Well, for once I think the contrast is just as needed on this one, it's wet and mysterious, just as if old Ad... ah, the zombie was slowly emerging from murky water.

Maybe just a hint of ripples would make it even better?

 This one is like all your pieces. Awesome, but really lacks contrast. Would look much better with more contrast. But pretty cool anyway =)
