The only thing i noticed that i really didn't like about this is the banding on some parts of it. Still, very nice for a first submission.
This is a "asskickingmachine"
Simply perfect...no words...![]()
big black space on the right makes no sense maybe should have extended the sky.
Incredibally well done. It's really a good one! I loves it!!!
Although I do think it's a bit too close to the original, it is clear that there is plenty of skill involved. I like your touches on the windows, I like the addition of the guy in the window, and your use of colors here is very nice. Great work!
This really caught my eye. Very nice use of colors and you definitely nailed the dithering dead on for the house.
Well, it was mainly an exercise in pixels, but I wouldn't think it would be a copyright issue unless I tried to profit from it in some way. Besides, most people (or at least any avid horror fan) would recognize the iconic house.
I have some original stuff, which I'll probably post in the near future. Most of my stuff tends to be influenced by anime and video games....especially Capcom art and Henk Nieborg. I'm also looking to try my hand at sprite animation.
I appreciate the input!
I don't understand the point in uploading copies of existing artwork. It's certainly ok as a learning task, but why not give it a more personal approach? You obviously have some skill...
Besides, what about the copyright issues?
Sorry to come hard on you for your 1st upload, hope to see something original from you!
I love the atmosphere, theres some contrast issues, but I am in love with this.
Hee hee hee Great pic....love the light in the windows too...
You can use iaza.com, or what I use: photoshop and microsoft gif maker.
Not sure how to do that.....but a poster was used as a reference point. Thank you all for the compliments! I want to do pixel animation as well, but I don't have any programs that can do that. Is there a program like MS paint that allows creation of animated GIFs?
Great vibe!²
I liked the ilumination in the windows. :)
Since it's referenced from a very specific image, I'd adivse linking to the movie poster in the description.
The level of details is astonishing. Great work
