Cool conception, though a couple of extra frames wouldn't spoil it.
Oh is that one of the frontpage restrictions? Never thought of that, haha. I never bothered making a preview image because I figured it was already within the same canvas dimensions to fit a preview thumbnail, but never considered that the whole thing's 32 frame glory would be nearly the size that it turned out being.
Definitely a dark horse since it didn't get any front page love (preview over 10k). Great work!
Thanks everybody for the compliments! I'm really proud of it.
Reading that a year or so back really added a great foundation of methods to allow me to translate ridiculous ideas like this into flowing graphics, I just need to work on my technical skills at the pixel level (and start working on things sooner so I have time to smooth them out for challenges, haha)
Definitely want to revisit it and polish it sometime after voting's over though!
skam, I think it's supposed to be simple :V
awesome work, great animation <3
Wow, how'd I miss this, this is one of the best in the challenge.
Very very cool idea ! You really should improve it after the challenge !
Haha, this is really a cool idea and very nicely executed too!
Ha! This is awesome! The pixel work itself isn't that great, but the concept and animation by far make up for it :D
Awesome! I usually do not like animated pieces. Most seem like the animation lacks purpose. This, however, is EXTREMELY creative and very well executed. Bravo.
THAT.
WAS.
AWESOME.
