Sonia, you need to understand that palette-control is a very important aspect of pixelart and the values of Pixeljoint - it's one of the ways in which one try to make a seperation between "24-bit tool aided"-stuff and "handcrafted pixel"-thingies. (Pretty much like the differance oil-painting / pencil-drawing). You're not the first one to get confused and offended by this and you won't be the last - but it's nothing personal, sweetie.
People are not giving criticism to be mean - they are just helping other artists to improve (well, most of them ).
So stick around and perhaps you'll learn a few new things...
Why would I want to do that? It looks fine the way it is.
I could understand 8 colors for an over world sprite, but not for a battle sprite.
If no one can appreciate the hard work I put into this, and the detail, then I never should have joined this site.
heres an example of how you can get it in 8 colors with little visable difference:

It's not that I don't like it, it's simply that this could easily be reduced to less colors. The only thing I really don't like about this is the pillowshaded hair.
And exactly why do you desire 8 dark colors that are inseperable at this size???

There is absolutely no need for 21 colors on a sprite of this size. Could easily be reduced to somewhere around 6 or 8.
I'm not gonna revise it. Where do I go to ask a mod to remove it?
