Very nice! I'm loving the animation on the grass, but shouldn't the skirt move too? (:
she looks very pretty. =) thanks for sharing. i like how the wind breeze blows through the grass and everything looks so typical, especially the dog.
wow i didnt even know you edited it once more, looks perfect now
I'm always seeking new style and always modifying according to your comments.
I knew scrolling square shadow break a third dimension, but I want to try the strange 2-3dimension style. Because it may be able to illustrate fantasic and chaotic atmosphere...
I must agree with Vertigo-Zero, the squares ruin the image! D:
Very nice work, except there seems to be a strange yellow glow around the lettering?
why did you add th scrolling squares in the shadow? Ruins the pic!
Syosa..you are insanely wicked talentous O.O
You caged my eyes once again T.T
Congrats man... no more words^^
See ya
Love how you use a purple like that as shading. I always loved that effect. Tis a shame it's not used more often!
Shawn: Interestingly, they're silver in the book. They were made red for the movie because the moviemakers wanted to showcase the fancy colour technology.
This is adorable: I think the solid flats really work, actually, and the woodgrain is amazing. I agree that having the witch's legs completely gone is a little confusing at first, given Dorothy's adorable stumpfeet. Nice animation, as always.
I really love how you approach your palette. You have such great hue ramps with no blacks - it works so well with the high detail-contrast in your artworks.
Wow! Really really cute! I love how you did the wood grain º__º
Your style is something i really call unique, there is nobody that owns that kind of awesome style here! <3 Pro from Osaka /kneel. Love your country and love your pixels!
i guess the shoes were red with the witches blood.
super cute stuff! i love the wood texture.
Beautiful.
But I wouldn't notice/understand the squashing without the description, and the blood without the comment. Her expression doesn't reflect anything unusual happened.
As Jeremy already said, the text AA doesn't work on dark theme.
Other than that, i like it!
The only thing that bothers me is the flat purple that is not dark enough to stand as a deep shadow. The purple gives the impression that the shadow area is somewhat illuminated, making me expect at least some details. By darkening it a little I think you can diminish this impression though.
the wood texture is nice and all, but i can't really see her fitting the description of dorothy.
also what sharprm said. nice though
I dont' really like the non-sading of her legs : /, but other than that this is perfect.
maybe the witch legs should not be pulverised. Otherwise looks like dorothy chopped off her own feet.
I agree a little texture in the purple shaded area would look nice, but this is great as it is. But where's Toto?
Beautiful as per normal :D
Agreed that the text's AA doesn't work on a darker background. *switches theme *
This is amazing :) huge fan of you.. the only thing that bothers me is the writing on a black theme here @ PJ.. maybe it looks better on the normal one >_>
To enhance the texture of the wood and the girl, I thought I should drop a deep shadow color in relatively broad area. If I use some textile on this purple or decrease purple area, the contrast will break.
And i made red color also flat on purpose. Because I want to express her distress of first murder with this blood-like color. So I eliminated textile and shadow from red color area.
I looooove the texture of the wood. o 3o
My only critique is that all the pruple on the house flattens it out just a wee bit too much. But still, wonerful piece. Your textures and patterns rock. <3
Wonderful
