I think the fur shape is fine, there are bears with that pattern on them

It's fur but I think I made it to pointy at the bottom.

THeres a bit of shading on his neck that makes it look like hes weaaring a bandana :/


other than that it looks ok

Your right there is not much contrast between him and the nut. I'll have to go back and fix that.



It's from the game Okami he's a large bear balanced on a over sized nut...while asleep. Orignally I want it animated so it mimics he rocking back and forth motion to balance himself but it's proving to be very chaglling.

hmm.. maybe ground shadow +  a little more contrast/ make the colour difference between the bear and the nut a little stronger?

-Is it a tiny bear or a giant acorn? those two together make it kinda confusing, and the fact that he is sleeping while balanceing on it is also a little confusing. A simple head nodding animation might help that..
