Whoah cool!
I remember seeing the video for this this on Indie Games a few months ago and thought it looks like an awesome game but wanted to see the pixel art more closely.
Will buy when its ready - I love platform exploration :-)
Very stylish and atmospheric work. Just that black hole takes too much attention, imo...
im tellin that pose of hers makes me think that she looks as if shes thinkin about sex!
I'm not going to mince words here. You may be the best indie game designer on Earth.
Yeah, translate it as "I've ever seen", or "in America, at least", or "for classic style games", or as the only way to express my impressions of your work - but the feeling is true nonetheless.
Objective assessment? Well, I'm about your age; I love SNES & Mega Drive; Phantasy Star rules; and so on. Thus I may be a bit biased here! But no one can deny the skill, creativity, charm, and dedication in your work, whether they share a love of this class of gaming or no.
Thank you for doing everything right, and it goes without saying that I'll be priming my salivary glands for any other shots you can share with us.

Thank you guys for kind words: )
The darker portion of the drains might seem out of place, but it is somehow yet to annoy me, though I am constantly adjusting the tileset as the rooms are being made. If I eliminate that darker color - then I would have an extra color to go around, and I'm not sure what to do with it: )
Now just need to design some sewer monsters, like Cyber-ninja-alligators and giant rat-things: )
And yeah - this game was never canned - an earlier version was scrapped (there is a video of it on youtube - the one with the giant slime-boss), but that happened three years ago -and I've built a whole new thing now: )
i love the desaturated colors, and only 16 , great!
dunno why but i thought this game was canned. great to see it still going.
gorgeous shot!
I have same comment about the sewer pipe. If you use a dark blue to represent saturated shadow, it needs be consistant for background elements.
yeah, so when's this gonna be released? the whole game just looks like one big eye-gasm.
pleased this is still going. I would definitely buy this if it cost money, you should consider an Iphone version :D
Great work, the only thing that bothers me is that really dark shade in the sewer pipe.
Glad to see you're still working on this. Nice atmosphere/colors.
Lovely! Great to see more of this. Couldn't the walkable ground use a little more distinction? Perhaps lighter, more contrasting, like the char.
Just lovely! Great palette. I really like the way the sprite stands out against the background.
I am working on a side-scrolling platformer and am learning a ton from your posts. For example, using contrast to emphasize playable portions of the graphics. Thanks!
