I've made port of Uwol - Quest For Money game from ZX Spectrum to Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. These sprites were made by me from scratch to replace the original's 1-bit sprites. Design is from the original's cover art by Ferrán Criado.

Thanks, updated. I've tried to use online service to remove the background color, it broke animation also, and I haven't noticed.

I think you forgot to make sure each frame in the gif restored to background.
