I don't know if any of you are familiar with the Game & Watch Gallery games, but they are collection of the older Game & Watch games, which were just LCD games, and usually have a modern version of the game too. The idea I had was to turn Super Mario Kart into one of the modern versions of a G&WG game. My understanding of the GBC's limitations are loose, but this should fit in one of them just fine, possibly with color tweaking. The MISS and numbers were lifted from Game & Watch Gallery 3 Left/Right would move the kart from one lane to another, one coin would be one point, if you hit a shell it'd be a miss.
